The Glories of
Christ
December 8th
Is there a promise to claim or a lesson to learn? Is there a blessing to enjoy, a command to obey? Is there a sin to avoid or a new thought to carry with me?

Psalm. 8:3-4 | Psalm 19:14 | Psalm 13:1 | Isaiah 49:14-15 | James 1:17 | 1 Peter 1:17
Showered with perfect gifts from the Father of Lights.
The trial of my faith, more precious than gold.
He has not forgotten, I am always in His sight.
What a glorious gift when His face I behold.
Consider the heavens, the work of His hands…
The moon, the stars, yet mindful of man!
Spring will appear, fresh and reborn.
Beautiful gifts of nature, yet men scorn…
The Father of Lights gave the gift of His Son.
Some reject His gift given in painful Love.
My Strength, my Redeemer, Fresh Breath of the day – I welcome Your Presence,
In my heart You will forever stay.
Gift of Love, Gift of Grace, Gift of Peace,
I am eternally held by Your strong embrace.
I bow.
