The Glories of
Christ
December 2nd
Is there a promise to claim or a lesson to learn? Is there a blessing to enjoy, a command to obey? Is there a sin to avoid or a new thought to carry with me?

Ps. 145:18 Hebrews 12:1,2. 1 Cor. 13:12. 1 John 3:2,3
You will not leave me comfortless…
You will come to me.
Run with patience the race set before…
Calling upon You in Truth, in honest plea.
You are nigh…
You will not ignore. Earthly days are dark, I do not belong –
Face to face, what glory that will be!
One day soon, my eyes and heart will truly see!
O to be like You, Christ, my Risen Lord.
To see You as You are!
Your crimson blood and blessed Hope make me pure. Waiting…
By Your loving grace I will endure.
Your Word will not fail.
Yes, you are coming again is sure!
I bow.

1 John 3:2-3
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.
