In His Word
Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto thee quickly, and will remove thy candlestick out of his place, except thou repent. But this thou hast, that thou hatest the deeds of the Nicolaitans, which I also hate.
He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.

Thinking of Spiritual Things?
“Coming out of the Starting Block”
This short book contains the commands of Christ in a practical arrangement for new Christians. It is my hope that it will help many as they begin the journey along the path of obedience and growth in discipleship that leads to full joy.
Jesus is Lord!
R. Kirk Kilpatrick, Disciple of Jesus Christ
“Focus on the Finish Line”
Kingdom of God in Focus
My prayer and my hope for you in writing this book is that chapter by chapter, through eyes of faith, your vision of the coming Kingdom of God will come into crystal clear focus. As it does, my prayer is that your excitement and anticipation of the full realization of His second coming and of His Kingdom will grow and motivate you to holy living, and to tell others about the Lord Jesus, our coming King.
In service of the King,
R. Kirk Kilpatrick, PhD
Professor Emeritus of Old Testament and Hebrew, MABTS Pastor, LFBC
Disciple of Jesus Christ
Lakeland First Baptist seeks to glorify God by encouraging all people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, discipling them in spiritual growth, and equipping them to make disciples of the nations.
Dr. Kirk Kilpatrick
Dr. Kilpatrick began his Masters of Divinity in January of 1987; and, upon graduation in May of 1990, continued into the Ph. D. program (1991-1995).
