The Glories of
Christ
December 14th
Is there a promise to claim or a lesson to learn? Is there a blessing to enjoy, a command to obey? Is there a sin to avoid or a new thought to carry with me?

Haggai 2:7 | Matthew 24:30-31
When will Your trumpet sound?
Bethlehem’s promise was fulfilled.
Now waiting for Your return still –
You will keep Your Word; I know it is True.
Coming in splendor on that day!
Watching and waiting, Come Lord Jesus without delay.
The desire of all nations will come!
Splendor of splendors, Peace will finally be…
Your nail pierced hands and feet, all men will see.
My Shepherd, God’s Lamb will come…
With fire in His eyes,
King of Kings, God’s Victorious Risen Son.
I bow.
J. Goins
“Contentment is not the fulfillment of what you want, but the realization of how much You already have. It is realizing that God has already given me everything I need for my present happiness.”
