Zechariah 9:9
Rejoice greatly, O daughter of Zion;
shout, O daughter of Jerusalem:
behold, thy King cometh unto thee:
he is just, and having salvation;
lowly, and riding upon a donkey,
and upon a colt the foal of a donkey. (KJV)
Mark 11:1-3
And when they came nigh to Jerusalem, unto Bethphage and Bethany, at the mount of Olives, he sendeth forth two of his disciples, And saith unto them, Go your way into the village over against you: and as soon as ye be entered into it, ye shall find a colt tied, whereon never man sat; loose him, and bring him. And if any man say unto you, Why do ye this? say ye that the Lord hath need of him; and straightway he will send him hither. (KJV)
Matthew 21:8-9
And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and strawed them in the way. Do you know for certain that you have
ETERNAL LIFE
and that you will go to Heaven when you die?
God wants you to be sure.
The Bible says,
“These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” I John 5:13
We are all sinners by
nature and by choice.
“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23 (KJV)
God is Holy and Just.
He has sworn to judge ALL sin.
“And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty;” Exodus 34:6-7 (KJV)
GOD LOVES US
He has provided a way to save us.
JESUS IS GOD AND BECAME MAN
“In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God… And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.” John 1:1.14 (KJV)
JESUS DIED ON THE CROSS
“For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:” I Peter 3:18 (KJV)
JESUS WAS RESURRECTED FROM THE DEAD.
“Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.” Romans 4:25 (KJV)
WE MUST REPENT OF OUR SIN
“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord;” Acts 3:19 (KJV)
Repentance is turning to God through Jesus and away from our sin.
WE MUST PLACE OUR FAITH IN JESUS
“For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.” Ephesians 2:8-10 (KJV)
MORE THAN FAITH – FOLLOW HIM.
“Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils also believe, and tremble.” James 2:19 (KJV)

3. Are you willing to place your faith in Jesus right now and turn from your sin?

Dear God,
I know that I am a sinner. Please forgive me. I know that Jesus is your son. He came and died on the cross for my sins, was raised from the dead. I am willing to turn from my sins and receive Jesus as my Savior and Lord. Thank You for saving me. Help me to follow you with all my heart, soul and strength. In Jesus’ name, Amen
