In His Word
Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.
Daniel 9:24

Lakeland First Baptist seeks to glorify God by encouraging all people into a relationship with Jesus Christ, discipling them in spiritual growth, and equipping them to make disciples of the nations.
Church Convenant
Having been led by the Holy Spirit of God to accept Jesus Christ as our Savior and having been baptized in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit, we prayerfully and sincerely make this covenant with one another and with our Lord.
By His grace we agree to walk together in Christian love, to sustain the worship ordinances, discipline, and articles of Faith of His Church; and to cheerfully and proportionately contribute to the support of its ministry and the spread of the Gospel to both our community and to all nations. As we abide in the Holy Spirit, we seek to live out the truth set forth in the life and teachings of Jesus Christ; to encourage personal and family spiritual growth, always acknowledging His presence in all we undertake to do; and to avoid all things that are harmful to the body, mind or personal example, in an effort to promote God’s will on earth as it is in heaven.
We will devote ourselves individually and collectively through the Church, to the proclamation of the redemptive work of God in Christ Jesus, to the ministry of human needs, both spiritual and physical, and to the fellowship of our brothers and sisters in Christ, accepting one another, sharing with one another, and loving one another, as the family of God. We will always seek ways to express this fellowship to other human beings who may differ from us in race, language, culture or creed. In all things, we will work to teach the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who is the Head of the Church, as we are His body, the bride of Christ. In Jesus name, Amen.
