FBCL | Caroling December 2024
The JOY Club meets on the second Thursday of each month. We have a morning session that starts at noon with lunch and an evening session at 5:30 pm with supper.
The JOY Club went Christmas caroling Thursday afternoon, December 5 and Monday evening, December 9. The residents and staff at the King’s Daughters and Sons Home in Bartlett enjoyed the Lakeland singers as they strolled down the halls and sang to the residents. Many of the singers have had friends or family members recuperate at the Home in the past. There were smiles as they encountered familiar faces. Choir members joined the JOY Club Monday evening as they caroled. Plans are in the works to return to the Home in the spring to sing favorite hymns to the residents.
