Ephesians 1:3,4
Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places in Christ, just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we would be holy and blameless before Him.

Through the redemptive work of Jesus Christ our Lord, his followers have received by grace every spiritual blessing. Christ has unleashed amazing grace that produces His righteousness in us. The glories of Christ give the Christian the positional status of being holy and blameless before Him and in Christ, we have received justification by faith which means we have been made righteous before God.  By being justified, we have been adopted into the family of God. Christian, you are now an heir of the King of Kings and Lord of Lords. You have received an inheritance and your redemption has been sealed by the Holy Spirit. Even the believer’s glorification is sealed when the Lord returns or calls you home, all to the praise and glory of Jesus Christ.  As we consider the undeserved and overwhelming benefits of being in Christ, we must consider that God by the riches of His grace lavished all of this on us. In the summing up of all things in Christ, God has made known these mysteries to us according to His kind intention which He purposed in Christ. Did you catch that? Christ has accomplished much for us because of God’s love, kindness, and graciousness, according to His will and glory.  Christian, this Advent season is full of hope because of Christ. You are His possession now, you are in His grip, and He will never let you go. Pursue Him with a hunger and thirst like never. He is gloriously worthy of your praise. Let us worship Him in all that we do and let’s also enjoy Him forever.
