“The name of the LORD is a strong tower:”
Proverbs 18:10
“Take Courage … Strong Hands Hold You” is a five-week study including lecture and discussion of homework emphasizing the names of God.
My neighbor invited me to a home Bible study in 1970 where God revealed my great need of a personal relationship with Him. I was a church member, baptized twice hut did not know Him. Jesus Christ revealed His desire to be my Shepherd Lord and Savior as shared in Psalms 23. Grace and peace is only found in Him. That day changed my life for eternity!
What a blessing it has been during the past 51 years to search the scriptures and get to know Him more intimately by studying His names and character. His strong hands have carried me through many opportunities of physical and emotional pain manifested though breast cancer, lupus, fibromyalgia, chronic pain, severe GI issues and living with an incurable, rare and potentially fatal disease for the past 19 years.
Perhaps you have a great need due to a circumstance in your life which requires much courage. Come and join me as we look into God’s Word and behold His many names.

“As we get to know and understand God’s names, we will also come to know who God is, how He acts and waht He will provide. Each name can be thought of as a apromise from Him – a promise that He will be and do what His name expresses. His name is much more than just revelations of His character and promises. God’s names also contain His presence.
When we know the names of God, pray the names of God and trust the names of God we are encountering God Himself! This is why God’s name is always to be treated with reverence and respect. God’s name is much more tha just a name. God’s name is God Himself”. quote
